Interesting areas:
Coastal areas, interior being largely inaccessible.
Don't miss:
Grytviken, Stromness Harbour, Leith, Husvik, Nordenskjold Glacier, King Edward Point, penguins, albatrosses, whales, fur and elephant seals, reindeer, ruined whaling stations.
Opportunities:
Landscapes, mountains, ice, wildlife, marine life, industrial archaeology.
